How to Factory Reset Anduril 2 — Step-by-Step Guide

Learn exactly how to factory reset your Anduril 2 flashlight to restore all settings to their defaults. Works on Emisar, Noctigon, Wurkkos, and more.

Why Factory Reset?

Over time you may configure your Anduril 2 flashlight with custom ramp levels, thermal limits, aux LED settings, and channel modes. If something feels off — or you just want a fresh start — a factory reset brings every setting back to the manufacturer defaults.

The Factory Reset Sequence

From OFF (light completely off):

  1. Press and hold the button for ~13 seconds (13H from OFF).
  2. The light will give a brief confirmation flash after the reset completes.
  3. Release the button. All settings are now back to defaults.

That's it. One long hold is all it takes.

What Gets Reset?

A factory reset restores:

  • Ramp floor and ceiling — back to default brightness range
  • Thermal regulation limit — returns to the default temperature ceiling
  • Aux LED mode — resets to the default color and behavior
  • Simple/Advanced UI — returns to whichever UI the manufacturer set as default
  • Channel mode — back to the default emitter configuration (on multi-channel lights)
  • Lockout settings — any custom lockout aux behavior is cleared

What Does NOT Reset?

The factory reset does not erase:

  • The firmware itself — your Anduril version stays the same
  • Any physical modifications you've made to the driver or LEDs

Tips

  • If you're troubleshooting a problem, try a factory reset before reflashing firmware.
  • After resetting, you'll need to reconfigure your preferred thermal limit. The default is usually 45°C, which is conservative. Many users prefer 50–55°C.
  • On some lights, the reset confirmation is a single blink. On others, it's a brief ramp-up and down. Both mean the reset was successful.

Which Lights Support This?

Every flashlight running Anduril 2 supports the 13H factory reset — including Emisar D4V2, D4K, Noctigon KR4, DM11, Wurkkos TS10, TS21, and Lumintop FW3A (with Anduril 2 flashed).
