How do I perform a factory reset?

Method 1: Hardware

1. Make sure the flashlight is OFF.
2. Loosen the tailcap.
3. Hold the button.
4. Tighten the tailcap.
5. Keep holding the button for about 4 seconds.

Method 2: Software UI

1. Make sure the flashlight is OFF.
2. Enter the sequence 13H.
3. Keep holding the button for about 4 seconds.

The light should flicker while getting brighter, then briefly burst to full power. Hold until it reaches full power to do a reset, or let go of the button early to abort.
