Configuring Aux LEDs and Managing Standby Power in Anduril 2
Configuring aux LEDs and managing standby power in Anduril 2 firmware
Accessing Aux LED Configuration
From Off mode, aux LED controls are always just a few button presses away:
- 7C — cycles the aux LED mode (Off / Low / High / Blinking)
- 7H — cycles the aux LED color (on lights with color-capable aux LEDs)
The same 7C / 7H controls work identically from Lockout mode, letting you set a different pattern for when the light is locked.

Aux LED Modes and Colors
Aux LED modes — changed with 7C from Off or Lockout:
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Off | Aux LEDs are off |
| Low | Aux LEDs on at low brightness |
| High | Aux LEDs on at high brightness |
| Blinking | Aux LEDs blink |
Aux LED colors — changed with 7H on lights with color-capable aux LEDs:
| Color | Composition |
|---|---|
| Red | Red |
| Yellow | Red + Green |
| Green | Green |
| Cyan | Green + Blue |
| Blue | Blue |
| Purple | Blue + Red |
| White | Red + Green + Blue |
| Disco | Fast random colors |
| Rainbow | Cycles through all colors in order |
| Voltage | Color indicates battery charge (red = low, purple = full) |
Available modes and colors depend on your light's hardware. Not all lights support color-changing aux LEDs.

Configuring Post-Off Voltage Display
Anduril 2 can briefly show battery level via the RGB aux LEDs after the light goes to sleep. The timeout and aux brightness levels are all set in the voltage config menu.
To open it: Off → 3C (battery check) → 7H (voltage config)
The menu has four sequential items — navigate through them one click at a time:
| Item | Setting | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Voltage correction factor | ±0.30V in 0.05V steps |
| 2 | Post-off voltage display timeout | RGB aux only; default 4s; 0 = off |
| 3 | Aux low ramp level | Button LEDs light at "low" at or above this level |
| 4 | Aux high ramp level | Button LEDs light at "high" at or above this level; 0 = disabled |
Example: to set the post-off timeout to 2 seconds, press 2C when item 2 is active. To disable it, don't click at all.

Quick Reference and Power-Saving Tips
Pro Tip: Running aux LEDs on Low instead of High makes a meaningful difference to standby battery drain — especially on lights that sit unused for weeks.
The Voltage color mode is the most useful setting for everyday carry: a quick glance tells you the charge state without pressing anything. Hit 7H from Off until you land on Voltage.
To keep Off and Lockout visually distinct, configure a different color for each: enter Lockout (4C) and set its color with 7H, then return to Off and set a different color with 7H there.
