How do I perform a factory reset?

To perform a factory reset, you have two methods.

Method 1: Tailcap Method

1. Loosen the tailcap to break the circuit.
2. Hold the button.
3. Tighten the tailcap.
4. Keep holding the button for about 4 seconds.

Method 2: Button Click Method

1. From Off mode, click 13H (thirteen clicks, then hold).
2. Keep holding for about 4 seconds.

The light should flicker while getting brighter, then briefly burst to full power. Hold until it reaches full power to complete the reset, or let go of the button early to abort.

Note: On some lights where the tailcap method is impossible, use the 13H method from Off to perform a factory reset.
